Half awake half asleep.

You once told me in the turn of a moon or three that you love me.

Mesmerized by the possibility of it

I wouldn’t sleep for hours, days and weeks.

Yet the sun came and I awoke from this dream.

A lingering wisp of your kiss still on my lips.

Sweet dreams. Night night.

Just the sound of the fan turning

The peace

The quiet

Cars running in a distance

Soft covers

Warm sheets

Nights like this makes me dreamy

And I don’t really feel like falling asleep

Yet sandman draws me but not before I write this last piece.

I got the order wrong

And he chided.

All I could see was the beauty in his eyes.

How can one not love that face?
I got it mixed up and his smile melted my gaze.

He flicked the tips of my fingers delicately so playfully

It made this heart race.
Just like ice melting in the sun

My heart melted in this summer haze,

As our lips touched a single cup shared between

A dazzled and a dazed.

Be my muse ?

Be my muse?

Come,

Come in be my muse.

Amuse me,

show me how you sparkle.
Be brilliant

And dazzling

Sweet ,

Coy,

funny.

Be mad,

Annoying

passionate in all

You do.
Come,

take my hand

Let me read the palms of your life.

See the fire and journeys in your eyes
Your destiny

A brilliant one

Awaits

in the scripting hands

of your creator,

Come.

Mirage

I’ll ask this once since you never take me seriously,

Does my love leave you breathless ?

Does it blaze in the depths of your dark eyes?

Do you yearn for the stirrings that keep you awake at night?

I’m just a candle a blow away.
